" I think my host is a really kind person, she takes care of me and taught me a lot of things such as English table manners.

I think I had more chance to speak English with people, which can improve my language a lot, and I experienced different experience which I can not have from school.
Also the house is really clean and food is delicious. "

Home Stay

Whenever school is closed for weekends and half term holidays, English Country Guardians can arrange for students to stay in a home near to their school. They will be cared for by a Host Family. This is known as a “Homestay”.

This is a wonderful opportunity for students to learn more about the way of life in England and to further improve their language skills.

What are Host Families like?

There is no “typical” family. All the houses are different. Families may be large or small. The family may be young or older. They may have children, grandchildren or pets. We ensure that your child likes their host family and is happy and comfortable during their stay.

All host families are kind and friendly. They like meeting new people and learning about other cultures. They are committed to helping and caring for overseas students.

What to expect at Homestay:-
